Because the Springs was built as one of Dubai’s earliest master-planned villa communities, plot sizes are smaller and more uniform than in areas developed later. That makes the design process quicker in some ways, since we already know the rough footprint we’re working with, but it also means getting the proportions right matters more, there’s less room to compensate for an oversized pool.
Several of the nine clusters sit directly on a lake, and where that’s the case we usually plan the pool and deck to read as an extension of the water beyond the garden fence.
